Gilly

A$680.00
sold out

Over the years we raised a number of poddy calves (orphaned baby cows). We would make up a milk solution from powder and water and feed them morning and night until they were strong enough to look after themselves. One of the most memorable was Gilly, named after Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist. The calves would become very comfortable with human interaction and exceptionally curious, so much so that Gilly used to lean up on the Jeep and stick her head in the windows while we were trying to drive!

79cm x 79cm

Acrylic on Canvas with an oak edging
