After School Art Classes - Term 1 2025
Kids After School Classes run alongside the school terms. All classes are run by me, Georgia Keogh, I am a huge lover of all things art and crafts, and am currently studying my masters in primary teaching. I have been hosting painting events for both kids and adults for the past year.
The theme of Term 1 will be “Book Fair!”
Students will become picture book illustrators! We will explore various picture books and their characters, creating a range of related artworks. They will then design and create their own board books and characters.
A variety of materials, mediums and techniques will be used, such as guided drawing, acrylic painting, watercolours, recycled objects, felting, clay, paper crafts, pastels, drawing ink and more.
In the final class, we will host a 'Book Fair,' where the kids will set up stalls to showcase their books and merchandise, proudly sharing everything they’ve created with their parents during pick-up!
Dates:
Mondays: Mon 3rd Feb - Mon 24th March
Tuesdays: Tues 4th Feb - Tues 25th March
Wednesdays: Wed 5th Feb - Wed 26th March
Time: 4pm - 6pm
Duration: 8 Weeks
Age: Primary School
Location: My Art Studio in North Albury, NSW (exact address provided upon booking)
Capped at 14 students.
All art materials and aprons provided.
Classes are non refundable, should something happen last minute and your child can no longer attend you may organise another child in their place.
