SUMMER ART CLUB WK 3: Jan 21st - 23rd
Summer ART Club!
Come to 1 or many days of creating this summer holidays! We are going to work in a number of different occupations and habitats (not really.. it will all held here in my backyard studio).
Half Day: 9am - 1pm
Full Day: 9am - 3:30pm
Age: Primary School Students
Location: My Art Studio in North Albury
Each day will consist of
Morning 9-1:
Learning a new art skill
Completing a major artwork
The opportunity to have some fun with a giant collaborative piece once finished.
Food breaks/game
Afternoon 1-3:30
Sculpture/making activity
Wear old clothes and bring a lunchbox, drink bottle and hat!
In each workshop will use a range of different mediums; including guided drawing, acrylic painting, pastels, paper crafts and more. Students will be able to experiment with different techniques and add their own creative touch to each piece. Check out the themes below:
Dates and themes
Week 3 (21st Jan-23rd Jan): Park Rangers!
Tuesday 21st: Paint a portrait of yourself as a park ranger and make a keepsake box
Wednesday 22nd: Draw and paint an outback landscape and make a polymer clay animal and landscape for it
Thursday 23rd: Draw and paper collage a kangaroo using Gelli Printing techniques and make a recycled material bearded dragon
Capped at 12 students.
All classes are run by me, Georgia Keogh. I am an artist, currently studying my masters in primary teaching. And have been hosting painting parties for adults and kids for the past year.
Workshops are non-refundable, should something happen last minute and your child can no longer attend you may organise another child in their place.
