Holiday ART Club WK 1: July 7th - July 10th
Holiday ART Club!
Come to 1 or many days of creating this school holidays!
Half Day: 9am - 1pm
Full Day: 9am - 3:30pm
Age: Primary School Students
Location: My Art Studio in North Albury
Each day will consist of
Morning 9-1:
Learning a new art skill
Completing a major artwork
The opportunity to have some fun with a giant collaborative piece once finished.
Food breaks/game
Afternoon 1-3:30
Sculpture/making activity
Wear old clothes and bring a lunchbox, drink bottle and hat!
In each workshop will use a range of different mediums; including guided drawing, acrylic painting, pastels, paper crafts and more. Students will be able to experiment with different techniques and add their own creative touch to each piece. Check out the themes below:

Week 1 (7th July - 10th July): Circus Spectacular
Mon 7th:Me at the Circus – Portraits & Performance
🎨 Painting Activity:
Self-Portrait in the Circus
Children paint themselves performing in a circus act of their choice (e.g., tightrope walking, juggling, trapeze, clowning).
✂️ Making Activity:
Trapeze Artist Craft
Using string, straws, and paper, children create a swinging trapeze version of themselves.
They draw and cut out their figure, attach it to a straw "trapeze bar" and suspend it with string from a cardboard or wooden frame so it can move.
Tues 8th: Circus Animals
🎨 Painting Activity:
Guided Drawing: Dog on a Unicycle
Children will follow a step-by-step guided drawing lesson to sketch a fun circus dog balancing on a colourful unicycle.
After drawing, they will paint their scene using bold colours and circus-themed details (e.g., spotlights, flags, costumes).
Focus on proportion, body shape, movement, and creative expression.
✂️ Making Activity:
Rabbit in a Hat Craft
Construct a 3D magician’s rabbit using felt, a toilet roll, and craft materials.
Add fun elements like googly eyes, stars, and a mini wand for a magical touch
Wed 9th: Big Tops & Carousels
🎨 Printing & Painting Activity:
Gelli Printing & Paper Collage – Create colourful carousels and circus tents using gelli prints, cut paper, and layered collage.
✂️ Making Activity:
Cardboard Construction: Build a Big Top – Construct circus tents from cardboard, paper, and craft materials.
Thurs 10th: Circus Fun & Games
🎨 Painting Activity:
Elephant & Clown Painting
Paint a large elephant on one page and a variety of clown characters on another.
Cut and collage favourite clowns around the elephant to create a playful circus scene.
✂️ Making Activity:
Polymer Clay Animal + Ring Toss Game
Sculpt a small circus animal using polymer clay.
Create a cardboard ring toss game using painted rings and stands, inspired by real circus games.
Capped at 14 students.
All classes are run by me, Georgia Keogh. I am an artist, currently studying my masters in primary teaching. And have been hosting painting parties for adults and kids for the past year.
Workshops are non-refundable, should something happen last minute and your child can no longer attend you may organise another child in their place.
All prices inc GST.
